Jimmie's Chicken Shack is an American alternative rock band from Annapolis, Maryland. They emerged through MTV as one of the first post-grunge bands of the era. Blending funk-metal with elements of ska and reggae while also demonstrating surprising acoustic prowess, lead vocalist Jimi Haha grew up in Maryland where he played with the group Ten Times Big. After that band broke up, he snowboarded for two years before beginning several acoustic jams with friends. These coalesced into Jimmie's Chicken Shack. Based in Annapolis, MD, the group formed their own Fowl Records, which became a nexus for the leading bands in the tri-state area. After selling tens of thousands of records, Jimmie's Chicken Shack signed to Elton John's Rocket Records and released two major-label albums, Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope and Bring Your Own Stereo. Both albums enjoyed chart, radio, and MTV success and produced their best known hits “High” and “Do Right.” The band subsequently released two more albums Re.Present and Fail on Cue independently. The band has been a fixture on the touring circuit and is renowned for its high energy live performances.

Since blazing onto the rock scene, Silvertung have proven that hard work, grit and great songs are still the recipe for success in the competitive hard rock landscape. With three albums and one EP released, they’ve amazed fans and critics alike by hitting the Billboard Mainstream Rock Radio Chart three times with their singles – “Never Too Late,” “Face The Music” and “You & Me”. The band’s music videos have garnered over 1.5 million+ YouTube views and are still climbing. In addition, the band received two Maryland Music Awards – “Best Heavy Metal Band” and “Breakout Artist.” Silvertung performed live at the televised event.

From the pines of Gainesboro, Virginia. Southern Governor are a eclectic rock band. Gritty guitars, monstrous drumming, deep bass grooves and soulful vocals is what you will come to expect from these guys. Founded in 2009, Southern Governor consists of three brothers, Patrick, Josh, and Stacey Galanis. Their debut album titled It's My Time was recorded in Glasgow, Kentucky under the helm of Kentucky's own Chris Robertson who produced the project. Robertson was able to refine and help create Southern Governor's signature sound. Derived from influences of that classic southern tone, mixed with heavy hitting modern rock, it is truly a unique sound that anyone can dig.

Reggie Wayne Morris is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter who was raised on his grandparents' farm in Charolttesville, VA then moved to Baltimore, MD. His distinct style developed from listening to Jimi Hendrix and B.B. King, fusing their influences with his own unique approache to create an up-tempo rock edged sound that is draped in soul. His linear note-bending leads inspires joy as he weaves through 12 bar shuffles, contemporary soul, funk, ballads, and a passing touch of Reaggae.

While the band formed in October 2018, the idea and songs were born somewhere in the late 80s at the height of the Sunset Strip phenomenon. One listen to Live Love Die on Main (EP Release: 12/23/18) and you’ll hear inspiration from the usual suspects—Guns & Roses, Faster Pussycat, LA Guns, and Hanoi Rocks, just to name a few. It is a true testament to the music they grew up on, in all its glory, glam, and sleaze. Based out of Frederick, MD, this quartet has spent nearly 18 months in the rehearsal and recording studios crafting a sound all their own while also finding themselves as a band. With a professional pedigree that spans over the past few decades, Rayne is a band of seasoned professionals that have graced some of the biggest stages, the best venues and worked with some of the best the music industry has had to offer. As a team, the band certainly knows not only how to craft a well written song, but also how to present that material in a way that is appealing to not only the average listener but also the die hared music fan!! With a sound that carries elements of the blues and what some would categorize as "arena rock", Americana and Roots Rock as well as an edgier sound that certainly falls under the "alternative" moniker, Rayne has stepped onto the scene with a sound all their own.

Demyze is a 4-piece hard rock/alt. rock band out of the Mid-Atlantic area. They released their first EP "A New Beginning" in 2016, which featured five all original songs. They played several shows in 2016 with several local, regional, and national acts. April 1st, 2017 Demyze released their first full-length album "The Fall Of Man" featuring ten songs. Five songs from the previous release that have been remastered, and five brand new songs.

Let There Be Rock School - Frederick is a combination music lesson facility and after school rock and roll community center. Students from 5 years of age to adults learn to play guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals, DJ, and Record Engineering while interacting with their peers. All students have the opportunity to join a band learning classic, current and writing original songs to perform at a real rock and roll venue.
